Founded in 1947 in Yamanaka Onsen, Ishikawa Prefecture, ISHIKAWA SHIPPOHDO Co., Ltd. has been a guardian of tradition and excellence. Our journey began with the first generation, Shozo Ishikawa, who dedicated himself to crafting high-quality wood and lacquer, preserving the artistry of traditional craft Yamanaka lacquerware. This legacy has been passed down through generations, with the second generation, Kiichi Ishikawa, and the third generation, Minoru Ishikawa, continuing to uphold our heritage for over 450 years.
